‘That’s Just Crazy Talk’ – A theatrical performance

Wednesday, July 6th @ 7 PM
Peformance Works, 1218 Cartwright Street
Granville Island, Vancouver

That’s Just Crazy Talk is both written and performed by Victoria Maxwell, an acclaimed actress and mental health educator. This thoughtful and funny one woman play is based on the Maxwell’s lived experiences with bipolar disorder.

This play is presented by the Collaborative RESearch Team to study psychosocial issues in Bipolar Disorder (CREST.BD) in order to explore the impacts of a theatrical performance on mental health issues. Participation involves watching the play and completing pre- and post-performance surveys. A question and answer period with the actress and select team members will follow. People participating in the research component of this event (i.e. people who live with BD and their healthcare providers) will be given priority registration. Space permitting, non-research participants (e.g. family members) will also be welcome to attend. Please note that registration is required for all attendees.

Complete and return the pre-registration form to CREST.BD Research Coordinator, Sharon Hou via email: sharon.hou@ubc.ca or fax: 604-822-7299. Participants will be contacted with further details as the event approaches. Pre-registration form: Click Here
